LA COUNTY FAIR
Los Angeles is bustling with eventful activities nowadays. One of the major attraction of the city is LA County Fair which is the talk of the town these days. A month long fanciful event will jump start from 1 st September 2017.
There are countless of activities happening here which would catch your interest. From delicious food stalls to melodious music concert, everything would enthrall you to the core. There will be rides, petting zoo, great concert series, wonderful shows, and delicious food.
Here are some of the attractions of the LA county fair.
Fair Food
Tempting food at the LA county fair would make you throw your weight-watching plan right out of the window. Lip-smacking tacos, nachos, and vegan burritos are sure to make your taste buds go haywire. Moreover, it would also become difficult for you to choose from deep-fried pizza, bacon fried s’mores, or Cowboy Crunch Sunday.
Must See Shows
Don’t miss out on the featured shows at LA county fair. The Esmerelda’s Traveling Circus located in the Grandstand neighborhood on Juniper St. This show has a crowd-pleasing aerial show and side shows. A highlight of the show is the Budweiser Clydesdales horses and other interactive circus skill shows. Take a trip down the Rabbit Hole and be transported into another dimension in Wonderland, A Floral Fairy Tale. A breathtaking floral display themed after Lewis Carroll’s enchanting novel, Alice in Wonderland. The Atrium is where fantasy and flora collide in our new exhibit, The Looking Glass & Beyond. Visit with our live woodland creatures like the flamingos, the hedgehog and the caterpillars in Caterpillar Cavern. Located in the Flower and Garden Pavilion.
Concerts At The LA County Fair
Season’s spectacular concert will be held at LA county fair this year. The End of Summer Concert Series will be held for 16 nights at the fair. Featuring Trace Adkins, 5 th Harmony and Chicago. These concerts are the perfect way to send off summer.
LA County Fair Petting Zoo
The Farm at is the number one attraction at the LA County Fair. The Farm is both classroom and live-action entertainment. Get an up-close look at the cutest goats, chickens, pigs and cows. New this year is our Little Red Barn which features miniature animals. And we dare you to learn a thing or two about agriculture in our urban organic farm, which features 150 California specialty crops.
Other Attractions At The Fair
Apart from shows, concerts, food, one can also enjoy the rides, stroll in the flower garden, get into the farm fun, and participate in many more unique activities such as a full-service ice skating rink! The Igloo features the Polar Ice Rink, for ice skating. The Arctic Promenade has a variety of unique products and is a great place to cool off and beat the heat.
